Deborah Wildish as The Drummer
Deborah Wildish started playing drums with her local band in suffolk as a young teenager, building up her strong musicianship. She moved to London and studied drums at Drum tech in Action, London. Influences include the Spin Doctors, ACDC and Led Zeppelin which have contributed to her own unique sound working as a professional musician for over 10 years. Deborah also teaches drums at the music academy 'Rootz' in Hertfordshire and other schools in the area. She has had many projects over the years which include funk-pop 'Miss Vickery' and the 7 piece hip hop band 'Falcon Burns and the Birds of Prey'. Deborah performed live session work for US artist Anya Marina on a tour supporting the Dandy Warhols and performed at venues such as the Latitude Festival and Shepherd's Bush Empire performing to thousands. In 2004 Deborah focussed her energies and created her own project with musician Sam Walker and female rock band 'JOANovARC' was born.
